The cornerstone of ESF’s business model is its relationships with commercial finance professionals and other advisers who help their business clients to access loan capital.

ESF specialises in SME loan financing between £100,000 and £5m.

ESF typical loan criteria

ESF seeks to originate a steady pipeline of loans, well distributed by industry sector, geography and duration. This is backed up by a strong quantitative loan grading process, alongside a traditional credit and underwriting team.

Lending in the £100,000-plus range requires granular local market knowledge. To service this market effectively, ESF has developed deep relationships with a range of business introducers such as commercial finance brokers and accountants. These relationships are supported by an in-house origination team.

If you are a finance intermediary and are interested in working with us to raise loan capital for your SME client, please contact us here.
